Project role:
EMBIO Diagnostics has been appointed as the Project Coordinator for the CONQUAIR project, taking responsibility for overseeing the coordination of all six work packages (WPs) and their associated tasks.
Beyond its managerial duties, EMBIO plays a pivotal role in the technological advancement of the project, contributing to the development of innovative sensor modules for real-time environmental monitoring and decision support systems. This includes designing the hardware and software for a digitized mitigation protocol, which will be tested during pilot activities across three key healthcare providers in Hungary, Cyprus, and Italy.
As part of its deliverables, EMBIO will develop a comprehensive mobile application and an advanced alert notification system, while ensuring full compliance with all legislative requirements. Moreover, EMBIO will seize this opportunity to enhance its technology for the detection of Enterococcus and total viable count (TVC) on hospital surfaces, further elevating infection control measures.
In collaboration with project partners, EMBIO will support data collection and integration into the final CONQUAIR module (prototype). Additionally with project partners, market opportunities in Cyprus, Hungary, and Italy will be explored ensuring the project’s outcomes leave a lasting impact in these regions.
